HAL has also designed the Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) for data acquisition from aircraft sensors and online telemetry of aircraft data for real-time monitoring of aircraft handling qualities”, said T Suvarna Raju, Chairman, HAL.
The challenging task was carried out by HAL with support from Indian Air Force, DRDO and other agencies.

The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairman, U K Sinha, said on Friday that the capital market regulator is expected to have a new policy for initial public offerings for start-up companies in three to four months.
Reuters had reported this week that SEBI was planning rule changes that will make it easier for home-grown start-ups to list their shares on local bourses, citing sources involved in the process.
Sinha, in an interaction with reporters, also said SEBI was in talks with the Reserve Bank of India about a new policy for wilful defaulters.
Under Indian law, wilful defaulters are classified as companies or individuals who deliberately thwart repayment of dues to lenders

Wildlife Management of Palvancha announced eco-restoration project for Kinnerasani Sanctuary in Telangana.The project will be implemented in 716 hectares of land under the Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary limits in Kothagudem Mandal with an estimated cost of 60 lakh rupees.
The objective of the project is to reverse the damage caused to ecology due to human intervention and restore the degraded ecosystem in the sanctuary.
In order to restore the ecology of Kinnerasani Sanctuary, a total of 26 deer had been shifted from three different deer parks to the eco-restoration project site and are being released into the wild in a phased manner in strict adherence to the safety precautions and rules in force.
Also, a plan is on the anvil to shift a few more deer from Kinnerasani Deer Park to the project site at Chintonichelka in view of the excess population of deer in the park beyond its stipulated capacity.

4. SEBI preparing new policy for start-up IPOs
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Chairman, U K Sinha, said on Friday that the capital market regulator is expected to have a new policy for initial public offerings for start-up companies in three to four months.
Reuters had reported this week that SEBI was planning rule changes that will make it easier for home-grown start-ups to list their shares on local bourses, citing sources involved in the process.
Sinha, in an interaction with reporters, also said SEBI was in talks with the Reserve Bank of India about a new policy for wilful defaulters.
Under Indian law, wilful defaulters are classified as companies or individuals who deliberately thwart repayment of dues to lenders
5. Tech Mahindra ties up with Gao Feng
Tech Mahindra has tied up with Hong Kong-based Gao Feng Advisory Company, a management consultancy firm, to provide technology services to clients in China and other countries.
As part of this partnership, the two companies will render services around digital enterprise, smart city, connected mobility, airline safety monitoring and remote healthcare monitoring.
Edward Tse, founder and CEO of Gao Feng, said: “The agreement with Tech Mahindra allows Gao Feng to offer our clients a broad set of capabilities beyond those typically found among strategy consultancies, leveraging deep expertise in the area of IoT , enterprise IT, engineering and big data solutions.”
Financial details of the arrangement were not disclosed.
6. Karnataka Bank launches ‘e-Lobby’
Karnataka Bank on Thursday launched the ‘e-Lobby 24X7 banking services’ at three locations in Bengaluru. A press release said that ‘e-Lobby’ provides essential banking facilities under one roof through self-service automation kiosks. P Jayarama Bhat, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank, said the bank has planned to extend the ‘e-Lobby’ services to another 21 locations across India soon.

Maharashtra Government announced to rename Girgaum Chowpatty as Swaraj Bhoomi to honour veteran freedom fighter Bal Gangadhar Tilak.Girgaum Chowpatty is the oldest and most famous beach of Mumbai, Maharashtra. It remains one of the best spots from which to see the sunset in Mumbai.
The demand was raised by the Lokmanya Tilak Gaurav Samiti. They demanded that the spot at Chowpatty where Lokmanya Tilak was cremated, and where a garden stands now, should be called Swaraj Bhoomi. He died on 1 August 1920.
8. Eco-restoration project for Kinnerasani Sanctuary in Telangana announced
Wildlife Management of Palvancha announced eco-restoration project for Kinnerasani Sanctuary in Telangana.The project will be implemented in 716 hectares of land under the Kinnerasani Wildlife Sanctuary limits in Kothagudem Mandal with an estimated cost of 60 lakh rupees.
The objective of the project is to reverse the damage caused to ecology due to human intervention and restore the degraded ecosystem in the sanctuary.
In order to restore the ecology of Kinnerasani Sanctuary, a total of 26 deer had been shifted from three different deer parks to the eco-restoration project site and are being released into the wild in a phased manner in strict adherence to the safety precautions and rules in force.
Also, a plan is on the anvil to shift a few more deer from Kinnerasani Deer Park to the project site at Chintonichelka in view of the excess population of deer in the park beyond its stipulated capacity.
9. Sir Venkatraman Ramakrishnan named as President of Britain’s Royal Society
Nobel laureate Sir Venkatraman Ramakrishnan was named as the President of Britain's prestigious Royal Society, a communion of the many of the world's most distinguished scientists. Ramakrishnan, who will take up the post on the 1 December 2015, will succeed geneticist Sir Paul Nurse, also a Nobel Laureate.
Nicknamed as Venky, the scientist is based at the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge.

10. Ramachandran appointed as vice-chair of International Relations Commission of ANOC
Indian Olympic Association (IOA) President N Ramachandran was appointed as a vice-chair of the International Relations Commission of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC). He will serve as a vice-chair of ANOC International Relations Commission for 2015.
The decision of appointment of Ramachandran as a member of ANOC was announced by ANOC President Sheikh Ahmad Al-Fahad Al-Sabah.
Ramachandran will be the only Indian on the 14-member Commission, which comprises 205 National Olympic Committees recognised by the International Olympic Committee. ANOC It was established in 1979 and has its headquarters in Lausanne in Switzerland.
11. Indian Railways roped in Ratan Tata to lead Kaya Kalp council
Ratan Tata, chairman emeritus of Tata Sons Ltd was roped in by Union Government to head Kaya Kalp, a council formed to suggest innovative ways to transform the Indian Railways.
Earlier, the Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on 26 February 2015 in his first Railway Budget 2015-16 announced that a permanent council will be formed to transform Indian Railways.
Features of the innovation council called Kaya Kalp
• It was designed with an aim for business re-engineering and introducing a spirit of innovation in railways
• The Council was set up to turn around the ailing state-run railway network
• The Council will recommend ways to reform the creaking public service transporter that ferries some 23 million passengers a day
