4.18x2 + 18x + 4=0
12y2  + 29 y + 14=0

5.16x2 + 20x + 6=0

10 y2  + 38 y + 24=0

    @ Kingmaker when you solve equations for example 1. question values cones are
    x= 1/2 and -5/4
    y= 1/2 and 4/3
    You can see one value of Y is equal to x and other value is greater. hence answer is 3
