Exam Analysis-IBPS RRB Clerk mains 18th December 2016

Dear Readers, IBPS has conducted On-line Mains examination for the recruitment of IBPS RRB Assistant Mains Exam that held on 18th December 2016.

                                   


Online exam consist of 200 questions with a time of 120 minutes(2 hour). Exam consists of 5 sections -
1. Reasoning,
2.Quantitative Aptitude
3. English
4. Computer
5. General Awareness
Every right questions awarded 1 marks and negative marking for wrong answer-0.25.

Level of exam is moderate and paper is lengthy.

Possible attempts- 125-140 Questions

Reasoning- 40 Questions
In this section questions consist of topics
Syllogism -5 questions - 5 Marks
Inequality-  5 questions - 5 Marks
Sitting arrangement- 10 Questions
Puzzle(floor based, direction,cricle)  10 questions- 10 marks
Miscellaneous (Blood Relation , Direction Test , coding decoding etc)- 10 Marks
Difficulty Level- Easy/Moderate
Possible Attempt- 20-27

 Quantitative Aptitude -40 Questions
In this section questions consist of topics
Data Sufficiency- 5 questions - 5 Marks
Data Interpretition(table and graph type)-.  10questions - 10 Marks
Quadratic equation- 5 questions - 5 Marks
Profit Loss,  Time, Speed & Distance, Trains, Simple Interest,Compound Interest, Permutation & Combination & Probability etc. - 10 questions - 20 Marks
Difficulty Level- Easy/Moderate
Possible Attempt- 20-25

English- 40 Questions
In this section questions consist of topics
fillers-  5 questions - 5 Marks
Comprehension  -  15 questions - 15 Marks
Cloze test- 10 Questions-10 Marks
Parajumple - 5 questions - 5 Marks
Spotting errors  5questions - 5 Marks
Parajumpled- 5 questions- 5 Marks
Difficulty Level- Moderate
Possible Attempt- 17-20

Computer-40 Questions
Questions asked from topics like ms-office, windows, generation, languages. Computer section is 
easy.

General Awareness- 40 Questions
This section is quite easy for those who knows banking terms. The questions were mainly asked from Banking, Static and Current affairs.
