SBI Conduct SBI PO Mains Exam at various centres all over the country. We are presenting Exam Analysis of 4th June 2017 SBI PO Mains Exam 2017 based on Students Feedback.
Exam Pattern of SBI PO Mains 2017
SBI has made some changes in the SBI PO Exam Pattern 2017 for Mains exam. Now the objective test in the main examination will be of 3 hours duration consisting of 4 sections for 200 marks. Moreover, SBI has fixed separate timing for every section in the objective test. The Descriptive test in the main examination will be of 30 minutes comprising of 50 marks. However, no changes have been made in the exam pattern of SBI PO Preliminary examination.
1. SBI PO Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.SBI has made some changes in the SBI PO Exam Pattern 2017 for Mains exam. Now the objective test in the main examination will be of 3 hours duration consisting of 4 sections for 200 marks. Moreover, SBI has fixed separate timing for every section in the objective test. The Descriptive test in the main examination will be of 30 minutes comprising of 50 marks. However, no changes have been made in the exam pattern of SBI PO Preliminary examination.
2. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer.
3. Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive Test will be administered.
4. The objective test will be for 3-hour duration consisting of 4 sections of total 200 marks.
Descriptive Section Pattern:
Along with the objective type question, the Main Exam will have questions in the descriptive format as well. Following are the important points to ponder for the written examination:
1. The Descriptive Test will be of 30 minutes duration comprising of 50 marks.
2. The test will be of English Language (Letter Writing and Essay).
3. The candidates are required to qualify in the Descriptive Test by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
4. Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately high as per total marks in Objective Test.
This test will judge the writing skills of the candidates.
Online exam consist of 155 questions with a time of 180 minutes(3 hours). Exam consists of sections - Reasoning& Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General /Banking/economic awareness and English.
Sections were arranged in the same manner it was published in the recruitment notification.

b) Write an essay on effect of social media and its consequences on our population.
Letter Writing (150 words)
a) Write a letter to your branch manager as you've deposited some amount but it is still not credited into your account
b) Write a letter to editor expressing your concern over impact of irrelevant news through socia media
c) Write a letter to your sibling giving them advise related to stress and anxiety.
Reasoning& Computer Aptitude- 45 questions(60 Marks)
