Why
the Change Was Necessary
The Aircraft Act, 1934, had
undergone 21 amendments over its long tenure, leading to several redundancies
and outdated provisions. The Bharatiya Vayuyan Vidheyak seeks to eliminate
these inefficiencies, paving the way for streamlined governance and fostering
growth in India’s aviation sector.
