Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan: Revolutionizing Health with Ayurveda

The Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan is a health awareness initiative launched by the Ministry of AYUSH, aimed at educating the Indian public about their unique Ayurvedic Prakriti (mind-body constitution). This nationwide campaign focuses on promoting Ayurveda as a preventative health model to address non-communicable diseases (NCDs) by personalizing wellness through Prakriti assessments.

What is Desh Ka Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan?

The Prakriti Parikshan Abhiyan involves assessing individuals' Ayurvedic Prakriti, which is determined based on the VataPitta, and Kapha doshas. This ancient concept of Ayurveda, rooted in India’s holistic approach to health, helps people understand their physical and mental characteristics and make lifestyle adjustments accordingly for better well-being. By adopting Ayurveda principles, individuals can improve their health, prevent diseases, and lead a balanced life.
